Home Depot Picnic tote project

This 4th of July, we started the day with a project at the Home Depot. They have this wood-working day for kids on the 1st Saturday of each month. They even give out the kid sized Home Depot aprons and hand out a little piece of flair that includes the project that they are working on. This is our second project and a really fun one. Here are a few pictures from the morning. Roman is pouring the wood glue with his white car in hand.
Deep in thought.
I always start the nails and he hammers them down. This project was taller, so it took him a while to get a feel for it.

Maybe if I stick my tongue out like this. . .
Ok, maybe with my left hand like this. . .
Sliding the final piece in. That's a good looking picnic tote.
But his favorite part was probably the popcorn and Dum-Dum's that they were handing out in celebration of the 4th of July.

RC looking good in her Home Depot apron as well. Not quite banging the hammers around yet, but surprisingly did enjoy all of the noise from the day.
