Cookie Decorating

A friend of ours had a Christmas Cookie decorating party for the kids. She made a bunch of cookies and had out icings, sprinkles, etc for the kids to use for decorating. Everyone had a blast! Here is RS playing with her youngest.

O smiling for the camera.

RS was really into it for a while.

Posted by PicasaThe opening for these sprinkles was so big that he had half of the container on the plate before I even noticed.

"Ginger House"

Our in-laws came into town this weekend and we had a great time celebrating an early Christmas with them. They brought a Gingerbread House kit that RS had a great time decorating. He keeps calling it his "Ginger House". Here are a few shots.

Here, he put the majority of the bag of icing on the door. He then stuck every peppermint that came in the package all in the same spot.

Putting on the finishing touches with the powdered sugar.

Hanging around house

Here are a few shots I took of the kids playing around in the yard when the leaves were still clinging to limbs and were beautiful vibrant colors.
This is RC's "I'm warning you" face. I actually see it quite often.

RS taking pics

After our family picture after Thanksgiving dinner, RS started taking pics with Grandma's camera.
He was just pushing down the flash and taking pics to make it pop up again. He thought that it was just about the best thing that had ever happened to him.

One more time. . .

Thanksgiving in IN

It had been a really long time since we went to IN to visit family, so we finally took the trip for Thanksgiving. We had a really easy time driving there and the trip was awesome! Here is RC with her great-grandma.

Baby Carriage Ride

RS found this really old decorative baby carriage at Grandma's and decided it would be really fun to put RC in it and take her for a stroll. After realizing that she was too heavy to pick up, he asked dad for help putting RS in.
RS realizing that this was his best idea and RC not being too sure about that.
Okay, she is starting to like this a little more.

Rounding the corner. You might be wondering how it ended--not great. After he got the hang of pushing her, he went running down the hall with her. She quickly realized that this could be dangerous and wanted out!
