Braves win

We took RS to a game the other day by himself while Grandma and Pop-Pop cared for RS. He had a great time. He loves watching "b-ball" on TV and liked it pretty well at Turner Field. Here he is watching the big screen.
Well, we couldn't go to the game without bringing along a truck! This is one of his faves!!
A shot from our seats just beside the dugout.

Here he is flirting with a girl behind us. All in all a great time, but he was wiped out by the end of the game.

Waking up from a snoozer

After RS gets up from his nap, he likes to play with RC in his crib for a while. Here are a few shots I took a couple of weeks back from such a day.
He always puts a pillow on his lap to make a ramp for his cars (which he sleeps with).
Hey there!

Lazy lake days

We have been going to the lake quite a bit lately--here are a few shots from our last trip. The ducks know that you have food and they are not afraid to come ask for some. So cute.
RS exploring like Diego.
RS snoozing on the boat.

Dad and RS playing around. He loves getting in this ring--little boy

Well, Nanna, if you don't want to finish your apricots, I'll help you. What a thoughtful big brother.
RC in her little swim hat. What a southern belle ;-)

Time to go--what a fun trip!

RC sitting up

Look at me sitting up all by myself!
Whoa, this Thomas is really fun to play with--thanks for sharing, RS.
Wait a minute, get that train back over here.

And, tumbling down.

N turns 3

It was RS's friend's birthday--N turned 3 years old! They had a man come over with animals and reptiles. Here is a turtle, RS was interested for a while, but not so interested in petting the animals.

Mommy J and Mae-Mae petting the rainbow boa. Mae-Mae was the most fearless one there petting all of the snakes, etc.

N taking a whack at the pinata.
Everyone took turns taking their best shot at the pinata.
Finally, mommy had to step in and show them what years of pinata whacking has taught her. The kids were so excited to finally get to the candy inside.

Mae-Mae finally stealing a hug while R was distracted. Too cute!

Caritas of Birmingham

Last week, some of my family from LA came to Atlanta to hang out for a couple of days before heading out to Caritas of Birmingham.
The family lounging around.
Hi there. I am really cute, huh?!
Hanging around and praying. There was a ton of people there who were so rich in faith--so inspiring!
A close up of the big boy.
RC showing off her near-crawling skills. She now gets up on all fours, but usually face-plants when she is trying to take off. She usually just does the army-crawl to get around now.

4th of July in Hotlanta

This is the third year that we went to C's office to watch the fireworks over Centineall Olympic Park in Atlanta. It is coriographed to wonderful music and is such a beautiful display every year. We met up with a couple of families and the kids and adults had such a wonderful time.

RC and her friend C.

RS and N.

Happy 4th!!!

R fell in love with S severral months ago. She spent the end of the night chasing after him to try to give him a hug. This is a shot of him climbing off of the chair after she climbed up.

Here she was still chasing him to try to get that hug.

A shot of C in the kangaroo sack at the end of the night.

Mae-Mae showing off her cute bow.

RC and A playing with Supermen.
